Nutaaq Program
This program offers entry-level, paid, training opportunities to ASRC Shareholders so you can obtain skills and credentials that qualify you for full-time employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
Your program begins on the North Slope, where you are paired with a mentor and work through a multi-level training and work opportunity program. A full-time, regular employee, craft apprenticeship, or additional development opportunities may be available after the program as well.
Annual Skilled Labor Training
Each spring, ASRC Shareholders will receive paid training for a career in the energy industry. The four-week program includes paid training, transportation, personal protective equipment, lodging, and food. After the program, Shareholders can interview for seasonal work, the Nutaaq program, or full-time regular positions.

While no experience is required, you are required to be or be able to obtain the following:
Be an ASRC Shareholder
Be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or expected graduation date
Pass a fit-for-duty and a drug test
Valid driver’s license preferred (our team can help you obtain!)

In addition to being a tactical skills program, you’ll gain interpersonal skills such as work ethic, communication, positive attitude, and teamwork. Some of the tactical skills you may gain are:

CDL class A permit

Fall protection
Fatigue management
First aid/CPR Flagger
Fork lift
Heavy equipment operator
Overhead crane
Pipefitting equipment use and bolt-up
